TRAVISIONS 2020 invites Bachelors, Masters and PhD students from all over Europe to submit innovative transport concepts to www.travisions.eu.
The deadline for a first short abstract is 30th June 2019. Following this, participants are requested to develop and submit their full idea by 31st October 2019 where they need to provide a report, a short presentation and a project poster accompanied by an optional short video.
Projects may cover design, construction, research or operations of new and innovative concepts and products. Existing products, devices, services or procedures will not be considered. The participants should engage in further research and use their creativity, knowledge and personal effort in order to produce an innovative concept idea of high-quality standards. The idea is not required to be a completely engineered “ready to build” product. It may also contain new technical solutions, based on solid engineering judgment and estimation of feasibility.
The top three ideas per transport mode (road, rail, waterborne, airborne and cross-modality) will be selected and the final winners of the competition announced during a prestigious award ceremony at the Transport Research Arena (TRA) Conference 2020 in Helsinki, Finland on 27-30th April 2020. The winners will also receive monetary prizes sponsored by the Industry.
For more details, Micol Biscotto (Deep Blue), will present more details on Monday, 27th of May, 15:00, in F024. We hope to seeing as many of you there!
