UPB Faculty of Aerospace Engineering signed in 2016 a strategic partnership with the Aviation Academy materialized in students internship, aircraft maintenance, pilots training and air traffic controller training. Also, thanks to efforts by SSAvC Director General, Pilot Eng. George Barbu, SSAvC awarded in 2018 two PPL licence training scholarships in a contest for the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering students.
