The goal of the protocol is a better grip of the aerospace upper education to aviation practice and an adequate response to the international market demand for pilots-engineers, engineers-maintenance technicians and air traffic controllers – engineers, with double tuition, both academic (engineering) and professional (EASA licenced).

The dual diploma (pilots-engineers, engineers-maintenance technicians and air traffic controllers – engineers) will improve the employment perspective for graduates and will increase the appeal of the educational offer of UPB-FAE and RAA.

Between the two parties there is complementarity with respect to the material resources and the highly qualified human resources.

UPB-FAE employs over 50 faculty staff, aerospace engineering experts, and additionally over 50 associate lecturers, being the main national supplier of aerospace education in Romania.

UPB-FAE has tradition and international recognition, its graduates being very well appreciated worldwide.

UPB-FAE benefits from the institutional academic accreditation, and accreditation of its bachelor, master and doctoral programs of studies in the field of civil aviation.
