Submission of applications by February 21
The representativeness of the students in the university is an essential component in the management structures. The students are decision-making partners, so the choice of representatives and their active involvement in the life of the university and the faculty is one of the students fundamental right.
On February 27, 2020, elections are organized for student representatives in the University Senate and the Faculty Councils, in the AN hall of the Rectorate building, between 09: 00-21: 00.
In accordance with the Romanian law and the Charter of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest any student enrolled in one of the 3 forms of education: bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate can apply for Student representative in the Faculty Council and Student representative in the University Senate.
A student can only apply for one of the positions: representative in the Faculty Council or representative in the University Senate. The term of office is 2 years, a student having the possibility to occupy it a maximum of two cumulative terms, regardless of position.
Are not allowed to apply students who:
- were sanctioned for violations of the rules of academic conduct;
- were expelled and were not re-registered at the time of application;
- have the status of university employees.
